Since we brought on our new team of experts at PMT Communications, we’ve had an incredible year! It’s been tough for many businesses in this post-COVID world, so it’s amazing to see our new department thrive and grow. PMT Communications is a specialist in Mobile and Wireless Communications, and we help clients in the Commercial, Government, and Retail sectors. PMT Communications is part of the PMT Security Group, and we’ve been working with some of Australia’s leading organisations to provide mobile coverage to buildings and facilities. We couldn’t make these projects work without the professionalism, quality, and expertise of our in-house installers. The success of these projects is mostly due to them, so we want to take a moment to thank and celebrate their hard work.
In December 2023, the Nextivity Quatra 4000e was approved in Australia. This revolutionary Hybrid DAS system allows small-medium sized buildings to distribute mobile signals across their facilities without the need for expensive carrier-grade systems that could cost millions. This technology provides a premium quality signal and allows clients to maximise coverage while reducing the initial investment. PMT Communications won the project to install the Quatra system in one of the largest Healthcare providers in Victoria.
This was a huge win for the business, and it opened the doors to other departments and facilities within the healthcare space.
Cambium PTP solutions – PMT Communications are experts in wireless communications, and we were fortunate enough to be chosen as the preferred provider of Wi-Fi installations. The project was to set up a “Point to Point” solution for an industrial client who wanted to provide wireless coverage from one building to another, about 800 meters away. It was a great project to be involved in, and the install team did an amazing job. They finished the project ahead of schedule and made sure the Wi-Fi signals was strong enough for the other office to work properly.
Passive Carrier DAS – PMT Communications are experts in DAS installations (Distributed Antenna Systems).
We work with both Passive (coaxial cable) and Active (electronic remotes) DAS systems. These systems are used to broadcast mobile signals from a BTS base station on-site throughout a large building. PMT Communications has experience working with big construction companies and uses their 40 years of security expertise to handle the challenges of working in these environments.
PMT Communications won the Passive Carrier DAS project for a leading Healthcare project in QLD, and we’re qualified in Active Carrier Design projects.
It’s hard to believe that we’ve accomplished so much in a year, and with our team and our skills constantly improving, we’re really excited about what the future holds for us.
